It’s official. I am the Birthday version of the Christmas Grinch. I love other people’s birthdays, I just don’t like people fussing over mine. In fact I think I am happier to let them slip away unnoticed. It gets worse every year (funny that).
However, today has been a rare exception because the very fabulous Abbie (our ‘newish’ Field Manager) cooked up a birthday tea par excellence. Ginger biscuits, Flapjacks with white chocolate, Chocolate Cupcakes, Meringues, Lemon Drizzle mini loaf cakes with blueberry/yoghurt fillings, and Pistachio Cupcakes. Unbelievably professional and all totally delicious. Better still, not a candle in sight!
